About Me

Now with 10 total years of running experience and based in Huntsville, AL, my relationship with the sport began before I can remember! My father is a lifelong runner, and I was indoctrinated into the sport at a young age growing up in Memphis, TN. He and many of his friends were successful runners, I was fortunate enough to grow up around some brilliant athletes.I began my personal running journey in middle school, running my way to school records and awards in what I thought was the next step before an equally successful high school career, which ended up being plagued with injuries. I was still fortunate enough to have 4 competitive varsity years that included a state championship in track and a runner up season in cross country, and compete alongside some incredible athletes, including future US Olympic decathlete Harrison Williams and many other future division 1 runners. After a several years long hiatus from running, I returned to the sport that is a part of my identity in 2022 to explore the trail/ultra scene, where I have most recently found success winning Mt. Mitchell 50 Miler and taking 2nd place at Mountain Mist 50K. My training philosophies are derived from my personal experiences, the impactful coaches and mentors I have been fortunate enough to have, and my personal pursuit of education through classic running literature and evolving resources.As a coach, I have formally and informally mentored and coached many friends and colleagues alike. Most recently, I've taken a position as an assistant coach at running powerhouse, Huntsville High School. I find tremendous joy in motivating people to work hard and believe that they are achieving much more than they think they are capable of - because that is the truth!. Coaching is an experience that I personally enjoy, have proven to succeed in, and want to share with you.

For $75/month, you'll get:
Personalized training, constantly tailored to fit your life schedule, fitness, and goals
Insight on nutrition, strength, and all of the other "little things"
Racing strategy guidance
After an initial phone screening for us to meet and for me to understand your goals, training/injury history, schedule restrictions, etc, we'll use a software called Final Surge where I manage your training schedule. We will provide two way feedback so I always know how things are going. More than just a training schedule, I am a sounding board for you and can answer your questions.
