Our sport has evolved tremendously in recent years. With nuances in heart rate training, nutrition, and much more, there can be a lot of questions in how we approach our weekly running schedule and the many "little things" that accompany our weekly miles and contribute to our overall success. Take doubt and uncertainty out of the equation, and have confidence in your training!

About Me

My relationship with running began before I can remember! My father is a lifelong runner, and I was indoctrinated into the sport at a young age. He and many of his friends were successful runners, I was fortunate enough to grow up around some brilliant athletes.I began my personal running journey in middle school, running my way to school records and awards in what I thought was the next step before an equally successful high school career, which ended up being plagued with injuries. I was still fortunate enough to have 4 competitive varsity years, and compete alongside some incredible athletes, including future US Olympic decathlete Harrison Williams. After a several years long hiatus from running, I returned to the sport that is a part of my identity in 2022 to explore the trail/ultra scene. Most recently winning Mt. Mitchell 50 Miler and taking 2nd place at Mountain Mist 50K, my personal running is where I draw many lessons from in addition to the many mentors I have been fortunate enough to have in my life.As a coach, I have formally and informally mentored and coached many friends and colleagues alike. Most recently, I've taken a position as an assistant coach at running powerhouse, Huntsville High School. I find tremendous joy in motivating people to work hard and believe that they are achieving much more than they think they are capable of - because that is the truth! I have coached athletes in many distances, from sub 16:00 5K PR's to finishing their first ultramarathon. Coaching is an experience that I personally enjoy, have proven to succeed in, and want to share with you.

How It Works

For $40/month, I maintain your training schedule, provide guidance on all the little things that supplement your mileage, and am available to answer your questions. You can text, email, or call me anytime. From our initial phone call where I learn your history and goals to the days leading up to a race, I here to make sure you tow the line as fit and mentally prepared as possible!We'll use a software called Final Surge where you will easily view your training schedule, and we will provide two way feedback so I always know how things are going. More than just a training schedule, I am a sounding board for you and can answer your questions.
